Varney Agency is seeking a motivated Bonding Insurance Producer to help construction and commercial clients secure the surety bonds they need for projects and licensing. This role combines financial analysis, relationship-building, and strategic market placement with top surety companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business through networking, prospecting, and industry events
- Evaluate client financials, credit, and work-in-progress reports to negotiate appropriate surety program
- Match clients with appropriate surety markets and prepare submissions
- Provide ongoing business and financial guidance to help clients increase bonding limits
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and surety underwriters
- Manage program renewals and support clients through claims or disputes
Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty license, or the ability to obtain within 90 days
- 10 Years operating in the Contract Surety or Construction Industry space
- Strong financial literacy, including reading balance sheets and analyzing construction-specific financial schedules
- Knowledge of the local construction industry, with a focus on public works
- Excellent communication, public speaking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Salary : $80,000 - $200,000
