We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, assembling, finishing, and installing custom cabinets and wood products according to drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and wood-based materials
- Build custom cabinets, shelving, countertops, and furniture
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Install finished cabinetry on residential or commercial job sites
- Sand, stain, laminate, or finish wood surfaces as required
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and proper fit of all finished work
- Repair or modify existing cabinetry when needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in cabinet making, carpentry, or woodworking preferred
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Comfortable using woodworking tools and machinery
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Physical ability to lift materials and stand for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Apprenticeship or vocational training in carpentry/cabinet making
- Experience with CNC machinery or modern woodworking equipment
- Installation experience in residential or commercial settings
