Responsibilities
The Operations Manager will oversee daily manufacturing operations and drive performance across production, quality, safety, and efficiency initiatives:
- Lead and supervise plant manufacturing operations and shift leadership teams
- Drive production performance
- Review operational metrics and implement corrective actions to improve plant performance
- Coordinate production scheduling activities
- Troubleshoot production and maintenance issues
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to plant safety policies and procedures
- Develop and mentor employees
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
- 5 years of leadership experience within automotive or industrial manufacturing environments
- Previous Tier 1 automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience managing production operations and manufacturing performance metrics
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
