Vanguard Maintenance & Electric Inc. is seeking a technically skilled Project Executive – Low Voltage Electrical to support and lead low-voltage infrastructure projects across Texas. This role provides executive oversight of project execution, technical accuracy, and financial performance for data center and commercial low-voltage installations. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on knowledge of low-voltage systems, operational leadership, and experience managing complex projects in active facilities.
Core Responsibilities
Provide executive oversight for low-voltage electrical projects including structured cabling (copper and fiber), pathways, equipment rooms, and network infrastructure.
Lead technical scope development, submittal reviews, RFIs, and change management to ensure alignment with contract documents and design intent.
Support pre-construction efforts including estimating reviews, constructability analysis, sequencing, and value engineering.
Direct project scheduling, labor planning, cost controls, forecasting, and productivity tracking across multiple projects.
Ensure installations comply with applicable codes and standards including NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI, client specifications, and local Texas AHJ requirements.
Coordinate with general contractors, owners, consultants, vendors, and internal engineering and field teams.
Identify technical, financial, and schedule risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to Project Managers, Engineers, and field supervision.
Support testing, documentation, commissioning coordination, and project closeout activities.
Data Center Experience (Preferred)
Experience supporting low-voltage installations within data center environments.
Familiarity with MDF/IDF buildouts, fiber backbone systems, labeling standards, and structured cabling documentation.
Experience coordinating phased installations, cutovers, and turnover packages.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in low-voltage electrical project leadership or management.
Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, pathways, grounding, and bonding.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Willingness to travel within Texas as required.
