What are the responsibilities and job description for the FRAME COORDINATOR position at Vanguard Furniture Co Inc?
Verifying frames as they come from different areas. Coordinate frames and frame components into designated area while keeping the frame storage area clean and organized.
Position Responsibilities:
· Verifies inventory of built frames to ensure quality.
· Performs quality inspection before staging for teams.
· Monitors frames are in correct areas to be sent to different departments.
· Coordinates, and has direct responsibility for verifying completed frames.
· Organizes the designated area for frames to be stored.
· Performs procedures necessary to keep frame production efficient.
· Provides for smooth day-to-day flow of communications for the frames within the company.
· Properly organize tools and supplies at the end of each shift.
· Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety
regulations.
· Ability to prioritize work based on the situation.
· Wears required protective equipment; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.
· Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience:
· English required for reading tickets and instructions.
· Microsoft Office and Outlook experience or equivalent.
· Strong Organizational skills
· Attention to Detail
· Inventory experience desired
Physical demands and work environment:
· Lift / Carry: Frequently lifting 50 – 75 lbs. onto and off workstation; team lift greater weights.
· Standing / Walking: Must be able to stand and walk consistently during the 8 hour day.
· Reach / Handle / Grasp: Repetitive use of hands required. Ability to use power tools.
· Bend / Lift / Stoop: Gathering supplies throughout day from various heights, bending, stooping, and stair climbing.
· Environment: Indoors, controlled airflow, depending on building may or may not be air conditioned.
· Near Acuity: Requires close vision of less than 3 feet, with or without corrective lenses, for precision.
