Position Summary
Green Dot Labs is seeking an experienced Post-Cultivation Lead to oversee day-to-day post-harvest operations while leading and developing a high-performing team. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating harvesting, drying, trimming, curing, inventory management, compliance, and quality control to ensure production goals are met while maintaining Green Dot Labs' premium standards.
The ideal candidate has commercial cannabis trimming and post-cultivation experience, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for developing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule: Friday through Monday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Commercial cannabis trimming and post-cultivation experience (required)
- Experience leading or supervising a trim or post-cultivation team
- Experience managing larger teams is preferred; however, candidates who have successfully led smaller teams over an extended period are also encouraged to apply
- Experience with METRC, cannabis testing, compliance, or inventory management is a strong plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, mentor, train, and lead team members
- Leadership experience within a trim or post-cultivation department is ideal, but we are also interested in candidates with extensive commercial trimming experience combined with leadership experience in another cannabis department, particularly those with METRC, compliance, or testing experience
- Lead, coach, and mentor the Post-Cultivation team while promoting a positive, accountable work environment
- Assign and prioritize daily work related to harvesting, drying, trimming, curing, testing, transfers, sorting, packaging, and quality control
- Train new employees on post-cultivation procedures, quality standards, safety, and compliance
- Support production planning, department meetings, KPI tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate daily harvesting, de-leafing, hanging, drying, shucking, trimming, curing, packaging, and weighing activities
- Ensure cannabis is handled properly to preserve product quality and prevent contamination
- Perform quality inspections and maintain Green Dot Labs' premium quality standards
- Monitor drying rooms, storage areas, and environmental conditions
- Identify production concerns affecting quality, efficiency, or yields and communicate them to leadership
- Maintain accurate production records and reporting
- Utilize METRC to maintain accurate inventory, harvest batch tracking, transfers, testing records, waste reporting, and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and company SOPs
- Assist with compliance audits and inventory verification
- Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workspaces
- Assist with equipment maintenance and facility projects
- Follow all PPE requirements, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety standards
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous commercial cannabis experience in harvesting, trimming, drying, curing, or post-cultivation operations
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience required
- Experience using METRC preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Must possess or be able to obtain all required state cannabis credentials
