Job Description
VanDevere Chevrolet is seeking a full-time Automotive Title Clerk. Applicants must demonstrate good administration and organization skills. Basic accounting skills, knowledge of routine accounting functions and experience in title and tag processing preferred. Good computer skills and a working knowledge of electronic titles and CDK computer systems preferred but not required. Dealership experience is a plus!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process all new and used vehicles for registration.
- Prepare tax and title documents.
- Submit all appropriate documents to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Maintain a system to verify out-of-state titles.
- Compile and maintain a complete list of all outstanding title work.
- Prepare titles for wholesalers.
- Stay abreast of current title regulations. Attend seminars held by local licensing bureaus and any available training on title regulations.
- Perform basic and routine accounting functions.
- Maintain assigned accounting schedules and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts.
Handle miscellaneous clerical tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Working knowledge and experience in title processing preferred*

Compensation based on Experience
