Product Line Manager:
Our client is seeking a Product Line Manager to support the development and execution of seasonal apparel product lines from concept through go-to-market. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about product creation, energized by apparel and consumer trends, and excited to collaborate cross-functionally to bring innovative products to market. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, exceptional organization, and a consumer-first mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced product creation environment.
This role is on-site in Beaverton, Oregon.
Product Line Manager Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of seasonal product assortments, helping shape line architecture, style counts, pricing strategy, and margin targets to align with business objectives and consumer demand.
- Coordinate key product creation milestones from concept through commercialization, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and product details remain accurate and on schedule.
- Maintain and manage product data across PLM and related systems, ensuring accuracy for style setup, pricing, product attributes, and other critical information that supports operational readiness.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams including Design, Development, Merchandising, Materials, and Sales to keep product initiatives moving efficiently and aligned with strategic goals.
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, competitive products, and performance insights to help inform product decisions and assortment strategies.
- Assist in evaluating product performance opportunities related to pricing, SKU optimization, and assortment effectiveness.
- Support the creation of product presentations, assortment reviews, and leadership-facing materials that communicate product direction and business recommendations.
- Contribute to product storytelling efforts by helping translate product strategy into compelling narratives for internal and go-to-market audiences.
Product Line Manager Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in product creation, product merchandising, product management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel, Google Sheets, PLM platforms, or comparable product/data management tools.
- Demonstrated passion for apparel, product innovation, and consumer-focused product development.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience within apparel, sportswear, footwear, or broader consumer goods industries is preferred.
- Familiarity with product construction, materials, and performance-focused product considerations is a plus.
- Understanding of athlete-driven product trends, sport culture, and consumer storytelling principles is beneficial.
- Experience with leading apparel, sportswear, or consumer product brands is highly valued.
