Business Strategy Manager:
Our client is seeking a seasoned Business Strategy Manager to help shape and advance consumer- and growth-driven strategies within a highly visible product category. This role partners closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to translate consumer insights, market dynamics, and business priorities into clear strategic direction. The ideal candidate brings a strong consulting or corporate strategy background, exceptional analytical rigor, and the ability to influence stakeholders through compelling storytelling and collaboration.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Business Strategy Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead development of integrated, consumer-focused growth strategies across product, design, merchandising, marketing, marketplace, and finance partners.
- Conduct rigorous strategic and market analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and long-term growth levers.
- Synthesize complex insights into clear, executive-ready narratives and presentations using Keynote and PowerPoint.
- Partner with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and drive strategic decision-making.
- Establish success metrics and evaluate performance against strategic objectives to inform future recommendations.
- Build trusted relationships across diverse teams, enabling alignment, momentum, and shared ownership of outcomes.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence, balancing near-term wins with longer-term strategic impact.
- Contribute thought leadership that elevates strategic conversations and sharpens organizational focus.
Business Strategy Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8–9 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or consumer product strategy.
- Proven experience working within or alongside large, complex organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to deeply understand consumer behavior and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Advanced presentation and communication skills, with strong executive presence.
- Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across differing perspectives.
- Collaborative, flexible working style with a strong team-first mindset.
- Prior experience with consumer-facing industries such as apparel, footwear, retail, or ecommerce is highly valued.
- Willingness to travel on a limited basis, if required.
