How You’ll Make An Impact
The Manufacturing Lab Supervisor will support the day-to-day blending operation by maintaining the schedule, having direct supervision of the blending team, performing quality tests and managing the ISO 9001 program.
This role has a salary range of $80,000-$85,000/year
Responsibilities Include
- Perform quality testing on inbound and outbound products and blends.
- Supervise blending personnel
- Lead project management for blending/bulk distribution
- Quality Management Systems coordinator including ISO 9001 program
- Maintain production schedule and purchase raw materials (bulk production and lab)
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as maintain equipment maintenance intervals
- Act as bulk inventory control coordinator
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
- Minimum B.S. in Chemistry, Biology or Engineering but will consider Business
- 2 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred
- Previous experience production scheduling and lean six sigma, a plus.
- Strong communication/presentation skills
- Computer Skills - specifically Excel, Power Point, SAP and quality management software
- Ability to periodically lift up to 50lbs during shift
