Summary:
As a Lead Automation QA Analyst, you’ll drive quality assurance across multiple software initiatives, ensuring reliable, high-performing applications, websites, and systems. This role blends technical expertise and leadership. You will be mentoring a team of analysts while remaining actively involved in advancing automation efforts.
\n- Lead the planning and execution of testing strategies across multiple projects and teams.
- Develop, maintain, and refine automation processes and frameworks to ensure reliable, repeatable testing.
- Analyze business and system requirements to define and validate comprehensive test coverage.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for automation and testing best practices.
- Manage and triage defects, drive resolutions, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Mentor team members, providing guidance, feedback, and training as needed.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project leaders to align QA processes with business objectives.
- Participate in the on-call support rotation (3–4 times per year, after onboarding as an FTE).
- Proven experience with automation testing.
- Experience with low-code/no-code automation tools (Mabl) or with Selenium.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills with an emphasis on quality improvement.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading QA team members.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- 6–8 years of professional QA or software testing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Direct experience with Mabl.
- Prior experience as an SDET or in a similar technical QA role.
