Essential Responsibilities
- Quickly ramp up and gain relevant domain and technology knowledge.
- Work on sprints or tickets based on the priority from Product.
- Writing and executing test plans, debugging, and reporting code bugs and pushing quality upstream.
- Work closely with the automation team and developers to ensure all automation coding standards are met and followed.
- Set up Automation Test Environment for multiple application platforms and work in CI/CD set up.
- Design, build, and execute Web, API, Backend test scripts by translating manual regression test cases into automated test scripts.
- Ensure that testing activities allow applications to meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues.
- Provide recommendations for improvement of applications to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Developers, Development Managers, Business, Product Owners and other teams to ensure the highest quality of the product by architecting automation focused solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 8-10 years in software quality assurance role.
- Good communication and ability to handle multiple projects and task responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress.
- Good Knowledge and experience on API testing and Backend & Micro services testing.
- Have a firm understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with both black box testing and debugging skills.
- Experience with cloud technologies (a plus)
- Successful completion of the Nlets fingerprinting background assessment
- Must be located in Arizona and willing to commute 3 days into our Mesa, Arizona office.
