Founded in 1973, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is a Christ-centered residential treatment program helping adolescents overcome substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and behavioral struggles through clinical care, spiritual formation, and experiential therapies.
Valor Ridge Health is a new facility opening in Branson West, MO. Building on the success of its adolescent program, Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch is launching a Military Specialization Center to provide short-term residential treatment for active-duty military servicemen who need help with addiction, depression, trauma, anxiety, and related life-controlling issues.
The program will incorporate:

Summary:
The Executive Director of Valor Ridge Health will serve as the founding operational leader responsible for the development, launch, and ongoing leadership of a new residential treatment program designed specifically for active-duty U.S. military servicemen experiencing addiction, trauma, and mental health challenges.
This program will operate as a specialized treatment center under the nonprofit umbrella of Teen Challenge Ranch of NW Arkansas and will integrate evidence-based clinical care with Christ centered discipleship and experiential therapies.
The Executive Director will oversee the startup phase, operational readiness, staff recruitment, program implementation, and long-term program success of the Military Specialization Center.
This role requires a leader who can combine mission-driven ministry leadership with operational excellence, ensuring the program effectively serves those who serve our nation.

Key Responsibilities:
Startup & Program Launch Leadership
- Lead the planning, development, and launch of the Military Specialization Center
- Oversee Design and Remodeling of current facilities
- Fundraising-including donor development, marketing, and grants
- Assist in developing the program structure, policies, and operational framework
- Work with leadership to establish licensing, regulatory, and accreditation readiness
- Develop operational systems necessary for successful program startup
Program Operations
- Oversee the daily operations of the Military Specialization Center
- Ensure the program maintains high standards of safety, compliance, and clinical quality
- Maintain strong coordination with TCAR leadership and shared services
Staff Recruitment & Leadership
- Recruit and develop a high-quality multidisciplinary team
- Oversee hiring of key program staff including: Clinical staff, Direct care staff, Program coordinators, Support personnel
- Foster a mission-driven, Christ-centered staff culture
Military Culture & Program Alignment
- Ensure the program is designed to effectively serve active-duty military servicemen
- Build relationships with: Military chaplains, Military family support organizations, Active, Veteran and service-member support groups
- Promote a culture of honor, brotherhood, accountability, and restoration
Strategic Partnerships
- Work with development staff to build relationships with: Military support organizations, Local businesses, Veteran foundations, Churches and philanthropic partners
- Represent the program in community and national partnerships supporting military members.
Program Quality & Outcomes
- Ensure the program delivers measurable outcomes in: recovery, mental health stabilization and spiritual growth
- Monitor program metrics including: census, treatment outcomes, client satisfaction and staff retention
Financial & Operational Stewardship
- Work with the TCAR CFO and COO to ensure responsible financial stewardship
- Monitor program budgets and operational costs
- Support long-term financial sustainability of the program
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree required (master's preferred) in:
- Healthcare Administration
- Behavioral Health
- Nonprofit Leadership
- Business Administration
- or related field
-Ministers Credentials and experience in leading discipleship programs
-5–10 years of leadership experience in one or more of the following:
- behavioral health treatment programs
- nonprofit leadership
- healthcare administration
- military or veteran services
Preferred:
- Experience working with military personnel or veteran populations
- Experience in residential treatment programs
- Experience with program startup or organizational growth
