Role Description
HavaHeart Rescue is seeking an experienced and collaborative Executive Director to lead organizational operations and advance its mission.
This role is responsible for executing the organization’s strategic vision, overseeing day-to-day operations, and partnering closely with an established volunteer leadership team and Board of Directors. The ideal candidate brings a balance of operational leadership, fundraising expertise, and a collaborative approach to nonprofit management.
Location: Springfield, Missouri (local candidates only; not a remote role)
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

• Provide overall operational leadership and organizational management
• Partner with volunteer leadership to ensure effective program execution
• Lead fundraising strategy, including donor development and grant management
• Establish and maintain community and corporate partnerships
• Execute strategic initiatives in alignment with Board priorities
• Ensure processes and infrastructure support continued growth and scalability

Qualifications
• Demonstrated leadership experience in nonprofit management or a related field
• Experience with fundraising, donor relations, and/or grant development
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
