Project Manager/Account Lead for Transportation – MEP. Can have a Mechanical, Electrical OR P/FP background (10 years required - PE NOT required).
My client has been focused on building out the Transportation Sector for his mid-sized NYC MEP Design Firm over the last 5 years.
He has been leading the project management & client interfacing himself, but is looking to hand off these responsibilities ASAP.
This is a new opportunity for a seasoned Engineer/Project Manager to manage the Transportation accounts, north of $1.5M, primarily across MTA but also with airports in the area (JFK, Newark, LaGuardia).
The main focus will be market & project management experience. This includes exceptional client interfacing capabilities & good design chops, but also someone who can run a book of work.
Business Development will be in the way of helping clients develop the project scope & writing proposals. Less sales-y, more of the real engineering side of it.
Total compensation up to $185k (base & bi-annual bonus).
Salary : $185,000
