As a Maintenance General Supervisor, you’ll oversee maintenance operations across our FQM and OWD Finishing Plants, ensuring equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement.Your Role at a GlanceStep into a leadership role where your expertise keeps our plant running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. In this position, you will:Champion a safe, healthy, and secure work environment for every employee.Keep critical plant equipment operating at the highest standards to support internal customers.Lead cost‑effective maintenance strategies that support production goals.Ensure equipment is ready on time — keeping downtime low and productivity high.Pinpoint opportunities for equipment upgrades, process improvements, and capital projects.Lead, coach, and support your team while ensuring full compliance with company policies.Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement using lean principles.Strengthen communication across all departments and organizational levels.What Sets You ApartWe’re looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation.A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or equivalent experience).Steel industry and material‑handling experience — a must for success in this environment.Prior supervisory experience leading technical or maintenance teams.Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with real‑world troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication skills and confidence working with all levels of the organization.Project management abilities to lead improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.Analytical thinking, including comfort using data and statistical techniques to make decisions.The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional teams.A willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation to support plant operations.What Powers Your PerformanceSuccess in this role is driven by a strong mix of personal ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
