Job Purpose:
- The Lube Technician at VALLEY FORD TRUCKS- MASTER is responsible for providing essential maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of our customers' vehicles. This role involves performing oil changes, lubrication services, and basic vehicle inspections to uphold the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on a variety of vehicles, ensuring adherence to company standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential maintenance issues or safety concerns, and report findings to the service advisor or manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels by reporting low stock items and assisting with restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive maintenance or a related field.
- Experience working with various types of vehicles, particularly trucks, is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of lubrication systems and the ability to perform oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks.
- Proficiency in using automotive tools and equipment.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic mechanical issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for maintaining service records and accessing vehicle maintenance information.
