Position Summary
The Supervisor, Academic Affairs is responsible for providing administrative oversight of all sponsored residency and fellowship training programs across the institution. Serves as the primary liaison and strategic communication hub for internal and external stakeholders. This role ensures compliance with ACGME and other accrediting body requirements, while supervising program coordinators and fostering their professional growth.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification in TAGME (Training Administrators of Graduate Medical Education) required or on track to obtain within two years of hire.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in graduate medical education administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of ACGME requirements, accreditation processes, and GME operations.
- Working knowledge of accreditation requirements and graduate medical education operations preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across two training programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with fellows, faculty, and leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and graduate medical education systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
