Practice Supervisor, Internal Medicine, Full Time, Day

Position Summary To oversee the daily operations and supervision of staff within the applicable Practice (s) under the general guidance of the Dir, Physician Services. Education Associate's Degree in Business Administration, Nursing, or healthcare related field. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience Prior experience in lieu of degree may be acceptable at the discretion of senior management. Minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience in a physician's practice preferred. Previous experience in a physician's management practice setting and demonstrated working knowledge of the operations of medical practice required Skills Special Skills/Qualifications Special Skills/Qualifications Membership and certification in a national physician practice management association is encouraged. Strong communication, interaction, customer service, and organization skills required Proven critical thinking, problem-resolution, decision-making skills Computer literacy in a Windows-based environment Working knowledge of standard office equipment including telephone (cellular phone), personal computer and software, fax machine, copier, VCR, overhead projector, LCD projector and PDA. Knowledge of word-processing and database management applications (Microsoft Office, Meditech, ACT!). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence, and customer service skills. Strong communication and presentation skills to present information to all customers and/or groups. Ability to convey information clearly and concisely, both verbal and written. Ability to create, maintain, and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective, and comprehensive medical care. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate.
