Valley Foot & Ankle Physical Therapy (VFAPT) is growing, and we’re looking for a compassionate, motivated, and team-oriented Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Fresno, California.

What You’ll Do
- Deliver hands-on patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients through individualized rehabilitation and recovery programs
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility training, balance work, and functional movement activities
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising therapists
- Accurately document treatments and patient outcomes using EMR systems
- Help create a positive, encouraging, and supportive patient experience
- Collaborate with providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient care
Patient Population
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you’ll work with a variety of patients, including:
- Post-surgical rehabilitation
- Orthopedic injuries
- Chronic pain conditions
- Balance and mobility deficits
- Sports-related injuries
- General outpatient physical therapy patients
PTA Qualifications
- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
- Passion for patient care and helping people improve their quality of life
- Outpatient experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
Compensation & Benefits
