We are seeking an in-house experienced and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our growing healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing, insurance claims processing, accounts receivable management, and payer follow-up. Experience with dermatology billing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
- Submit and track insurance claims accurately and timely
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Review EOBs and ERAs for accuracy
- Work accounts receivable and collections queues
- Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status and appeals
- Maintain compliance with payer regulations and billing guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to resolve billing issues
- Ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical billing experience required
- Dermatology billing experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Experience with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers
- Strong understanding of claims management and revenue cycle processes
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR and billing software systems
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
