Summary:
We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations by performing raw material movements, transactions, and inventory management. This role ensures materials are supplied accurately and efficiently to manufacturing areas while maintaining compliance with company quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform raw material movements, dispatch, and transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage, labeling, and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse vehicles; perform daily inspections and report defects.
- Support manufacturing by supplying materials and receiving returns accurately.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures.
- Follow company procedures, ISO, and QSR standards.
- Assist with month-end and year-end inventory activities.
- Participate in environmental and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a warehouse or material handling role (direct experience as a Material Handler is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to use Excel and Oracle (or similar systems).
- Forklift experience (stand-up preferred).
- Knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
