We’re seeking a Quality Inspector to support quality assurance activities within our medical device manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, solid understanding of quality systems, and prior experience in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on incoming raw materials per approved procedures.
- Audit Product History Records, Sterilization Records, and related documentation to support product release.
- Conduct specialized testing and investigations to assess and resolve quality issues.
- Manage calibration and environmental monitoring programs.
- Evaluate and track customer-returned products in accordance with Complaint Handling and Investigation Procedures.
- Perform routine audits of molding and assembly operations; collaborate with manufacturing to ensure corrective actions are effective.
- Accurately complete inspection and audit documentation.
- Adhere to all ISO and FDA regulatory requirements related to medical device manufacturing.
- Handle chemicals (e.g., alcohol) safely and in compliance with company protocols.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in the medical device industry (required)
- Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid math and analytical abilities
- Working knowledge of Quality Systems and compliance standards (ISO, FDA, etc.)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Must be able to lift and lower objects up to 30 lbs.
