HR Coordinator
Location: CA – Garden Grove
Department: Human Resources Classification: Non-Exempt
Travel: Travel will be required daily from building to building
Report To : HR Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinate and support full-cycle onboarding, including new hire paperwork, orientation, and system setup.
· Maintain employee personnel files and HRIS records ensuring accuracy and compliance.
· Assist with timekeeping, attendance tracking, and payroll support for hourly employees.
· Provide support with California meal and rest break compliance, wage and hour regulations, and labor law postings.
· Assist with workers’ compensation claims, return-to-work coordination in HRIS System, and injury documentation as a back-up for the EHS Safety Specialist / Manager.
· Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
· Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
· Translate HR communications and assist with employee interactions for Spanish-speaking employees.
· Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and documentation as needed
· Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
· Support ITAR compliance requirements, including proper documentation and employment eligibility verification.
· Coordinate employee training, safety programs, and compliance documentation.
· Assist with audits and reporting related to HR compliance and regulatory requirements.
· Run daily / weekly reports needed
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
· Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
· 2 years of HR administrative or HR coordinator experience
· Experience working in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments preferred
· Knowledge of California labor laws and wage and hour regulations
· Experience with HRIS systems, payroll support, and timekeeping systems
· Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
· High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Work Environment
· Manufacturing / aerospace production environment
· Interaction with production employees, supervisors, and management
· Require to walk and support production floor following safety protocols
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
