Position Summary
The HR Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations while playing a key role in assisting HR Planning initiatives at Samyang America. This position provides administrative and analytical support for strategic HR projects, including HR presentations, training coordination, and policy administration. The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Manager to ensure HR processes are well-organized, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.
This role is ideal for an HR professional with 2–4 years of experience who is looking to grow into a more strategic HR role while maintaining strong operational execution.

The HR Coordinator works closely with the HR Manager to ensure HR processes are well-organized, compliant, and aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities
HR Planning & Strategic Support
- Support the HR Manager in preparing strategic HR planning materials, including PowerPoint presentations, reports, and data summaries for leadership and HQ.
- Assist with workforce planning, organizational updates, and HR project tracking.
- Collect, organize, and maintain HR data used for planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate timelines and materials related to annual HR cycles (e.g., goal setting, performance reviews, compensation planning).
- Provide administrative support for employee training and development programs.
- Coordinate training schedules, participant lists, materials, and attendance tracking.
- Support onboarding and internal training logistics in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders.
- Maintain training records and documentation.
- Handle day-to-day HR administrative tasks including document management, employee records, and HRIS updates.
- Support policy administration and assist with updating HR policies, guidelines, and employee communications.
- Assist in ensuring HR processes comply with company policies and applicable labor laws.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries and escalate issues to the HR Manager as appropriate.
- Prepare regular HR reports and summaries for the HR Manager.
- Track action items and follow-ups from HR meetings and initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Payroll, Operations) on HR-related administrative matters.
- Support audits, internal reviews, and compliance-related documentation as needed.
- B achelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, HR Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Basic understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment regulations.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience supporting HR planning or strategic HR projects.
- Experience coordinating training or development programs.
- Familiarity with HRIS and payroll systems.
- Experience working in a growing or fast-paced organization.
- Bilingual (English/Korean) is a plus.
