Requirements of the General Manager:
- Demonstrated leadership experience within aerospace manufacturing or repair operations
- 5 years of progressive experience in production, repair station, or shop-floor operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related discipline
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and aerospace regulatory requirements
- Strong operational problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to lead supervisors, production teams, and cross-functional partners
- Experience with ERP, production scheduling, or manufacturing management systems
- Provide direct, floor-level leadership across production and repair activities to ensure schedules, priorities, and customer commitments are met
- Partner with planning, engineering, quality, and supply chain to eliminate constraints and improve throughput, efficiency, and flow
- Lead initiatives to improve on-time delivery, cycle time, and overall customer satisfaction metrics
- Oversee compliance with aerospace quality systems, audit readiness, and corrective action execution
- Manage budgets, labor utilization, overtime, and cost-reduction initiatives
- Lead daily, weekly, and monthly operational meetings to align execution and resources
- Serve as an escalation point for operational risks, customer concerns, and production challenges
- Support as needed
