Requirements of the Electrical Engineer:
- Direct experience designing complex electrical systems with embedded controls, analog/digital circuitry, and system-level integration
- Ability to interpret and implement aerospace electrical standards and best practices
- Background working with actuators, sensors, or similar aerospace-grade components
- Proficiency with design software such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or comparable tools
- Skilled in preparing detailed engineering documentation and technical reporting
- Understanding of power distribution, grounding, EMI/EMC considerations, and hardware architecture
- Familiarity with DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and related compliance frameworks
- Experience with communications interfaces such as SPI, Ethernet, ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN Bus, or similar protocols
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or closely related field)
- Strong analytical, communication, and project-coordination skills
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or high-reliability engineering programs
- Contribute to the design and development of embedded electronic hardware for aerospace applications
- Support the creation of system-architecture concepts, electrical layouts, and component selections
- Lead or support electrical tasks in collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams
- Perform investigative testing, qualification activities, and compliance-driven evaluations
- Troubleshoot electrical systems during prototype builds and production activities
- Generate technical analyses, engineering documentation, and program-related reports
- Collaborate with suppliers, internal teams, and external partners to meet project objectives
- Support as needed
