Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Timonium, MD, who is actively searching for an experienced Drain Cleaning / Jetting Technician to work onsite for an opportunity paying $24 to $28 per hour, based on experience. This is a dedicated drain cleaning role, not a plumbing position, focused on clearing, jetting, and televising drain and sewer lines for commercial and institutional properties throughout the Greater Baltimore Area. The right candidate will be hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable operating jetting trailers, sewer cameras, and rodding equipment at customer sites.

Requirements of the Drain Cleaning / Jetting Technician:
- Proven experience clearing main lines, branch lines, floor drains, kitchen lines, and grease-impacted systems
- Hands-on operation of high-pressure water jetters, drum and sectional machines, and sewer inspection cameras
- Comfort towing equipment trailers and maneuvering them safely on commercial job sites
- Minimum of 2 years in a dedicated drain cleaning or sewer service role
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record
- Experience operating small excavating equipment such as mini excavators or skid steers is a strong plus
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and handle physically demanding service calls
Responsibilities of the Drain Cleaning / Jetting Technician:
- Diagnose and clear blockages in commercial drain, waste, and sewer systems using the appropriate equipment
- Perform camera inspections to locate stoppages, root intrusion, and pipe damage, and document findings clearly
- Operate trailer-mounted jetting units and tow them safely between client locations
- Provide straightforward recommendations to facility teams regarding repairs and ongoing line maintenance
- Maintain assigned vehicle, tools, and trailered equipment in clean, working condition
- Complete service tickets and submit accurate documentation through mobile field software
- Follow all confined space, traffic control, and personal protective equipment protocols
- Support servicing team as needed
