Store Manager - Full Time

Role Overview: The store manager oversees all store operations, including

staffing, training, inventory management, merchandise presentation, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and retain qualified employees, ensuring proper staffing and compliance with labor laws.
• Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations, and manage employee development and disciplinary actions.
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Analyze financial statements to identify sales trends, control expenses, and reduce shrinkage.
• Order inventory to meet or exceed stock targets, oversee stock replenishment, and merchandise presentation.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages, and ensure proper pricing and signage.
• Uphold cash handling, cashier accountability, and security policies to ensure financial integrity.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and complete all required documentation.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to interpret safety and operational documents, perform math calculations, and handle cash procedures.
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in recruiting, hiring, counseling, and legal compliance.
• Preferred high school diploma and management experience in retail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand and walk frequently, and operate store equipment.
• Bilingual skills may be preferred depending on location.
