This position focuses on diagnosing and repairing residential plumbing systems while helping homeowners understand their options and make informed decisions about repairs, replacements, and maintenance solutions.
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour, base pay depending on experience
Total Compensation Potential: Approximately $90,000 annually with performance incentives and commissions
As a Residential Service Plumber, you will respond to in-home service calls, diagnose plumbing issues, perform repairs, and provide clear recommendations to customers. Technicians in this role handle plumbing service, drain cleaning, fixture installation, and system troubleshooting while maintaining strong communication with customers, dispatch, and the office team. This role also involves maintaining an organized service vehicle, documenting work accurately, and participating in ongoing training and team meetings to continually improve service quality.
Experienced technicians may also assist in mentoring apprentices and helping newer team members develop their technical skills and customer service approach.

Qualifications
Candidates should have at least three years of plumbing experience and strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems and local plumbing codes. Technicians should be comfortable performing tasks such as soldering, pipe threading, fixture installation, gas leak testing, and general plumbing system diagnostics and repairs. A clean driving record is required, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with customers.
