This position focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential heating and cooling systems while helping homeowners make informed decisions about repairs, upgrades, and maintenance options.
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour, base pay depending on experience
Total Compensation Potential: Approximately $75,000 - $90,000 annually with performance incentives and commissions
As a Residential HVAC Service Technician, you will respond to in-home service calls, diagnose system issues, and complete repairs on heating and cooling equipment. Technicians in this role troubleshoot system malfunctions, recommend solutions, and explain repair or replacement options clearly so customers can make confident decisions about their home comfort systems. This role also includes documenting service work accurately, maintaining an organized service vehicle, and working closely with dispatch and customer service to ensure a positive customer experience. Experienced technicians may also assist with mentoring apprentices and helping newer technicians strengthen their technical and customer service skills.

Qualifications
Candidates should have at least three years of HVAC field experience and a strong understanding of residential heating and cooling systems.
