A Westside retailer is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for debits, credits, journal entries, and assisting with other GL accounting duties. What do you need for this Staff Accountant role?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 0-2 years of professional accounting experience (internship experience in accounting is welcomed)
- Intermediate Excel
- Assist with the preparation and posting of journal entries while ensuring debits and credits are accurately recorded.
- Support the month-end close process, including reconciliations and financial data review.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and support resolution of accounting issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and verify financial information.
- Support documentation and improvement of accounting processes and procedures.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Salary : $70,000 - $70,304
