Tax Associate Opportunity
A well-established and growing professional services firm focused on supporting privately held, small to mid-sized businesses is looking to add a Tax Associate to their team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients and leadership in a collaborative, business-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
Prepare a variety of federal and multi-state tax returns across individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts
Conduct tax research and assist in resolving routine tax matters
Support overall engagement workflow and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables
Provide regular updates to leadership on project status
Build and maintain relationships with clients while supporting ongoing advisory and planning efforts
Partner directly with clients to address tax-related questions and planning strategies
What They're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
CPA or EA designation (or in progress) is a plus
Approximately 3 years of relevant tax experience
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Ability to analyze issues and suggest practical solutions
Proficiency with tax and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
