What you'll do:
Design, enhance, and support internal and customer-facing applications using Laravel, React, and Tailwind CSS.
Help transition legacy PHP systems into a modern Laravel/React stack with well-tested, maintainable code.
Build and maintain secure APIs and backend services.
Work with front-end teams to integrate interfaces with backend logic and reusable components.
Write optimized MySQL queries and apply security best practices across the stack.
Contribute to testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) to improve system reliability.
Take part in code reviews, share knowledge, and maintain consistent coding standards.
Diagnose and resolve issues across multiple environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate progress effectively.
Offer technical mentorship, documentation, and guidance to teammates.
Monitor application performance and scalability in Linux-based environments.
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver features that improve both user experience and business outcomes.
Stay up to date with modern frameworks, libraries, and development practices to keep our stack current.
Balance multiple priorities while maintaining strong development discipline and code quality.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
