We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join our onsite operations team. This role is responsible for managing the daily flow of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company procedures. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records using internal systems or warehouse management software
- Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers to resolve shipping or delivery issues
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently according to established procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and shipping/handling regulations
- Assist with other warehouse or operational tasks as required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift, move, and handle packages (within established safety guidelines)
- Basic computer skills and comfort using inventory or shipping systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite and follow scheduled work hours reliably
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Salary : $45,760 - $57,200
