Role: Senior Manager - Global Accounting
Salary: $170,000 - $200,000/annually
Location: Remote (Must be East Coast) Quarterly International Travel
About the role: Our client, a rapidly scaling international tech company, is hiring a senior leader to oversee global accounting processes and strengthen financial governance across a complex, multi?entity environment. This role owns corporate accounting operations, drives standardization and automation, and ensures full compliance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements. You'll partner closely with regional controllers in 45 countries and lead audit coordination with external firms. The position is ideal for a hands?on operator who enjoys building systems, improving processes, and navigating large?scale global reporting. Must have a CPA, Big 4 foundation, and Global Public company industry experience.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee core accounting areas across the global organization, including consolidations, intercompany eliminations, asset accounting, internal?use software, leases, provisions, stock?based compensation, and acquisition?related entries.
- Develop scalable processes for key operational accounting areas, with a focus on automation and standardization.
- Create a global playbook for acquisition accounting, including fair?value assessments, purchase price allocation, and post?transaction integration.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation of accounting policies, workflows, and internal controls aligned with GAAP and SOX.
- Manage audit preparation and coordination, ensuring timely responses to PBC requests and compliance with audit standards.
- Collaborate with FP&A, legal, tax, shared services, and international controllers to align global processes with reporting requirements.
- Analyze consolidated results and explain key period?over?period financial movements.
- Strengthen internal controls across the organization and help drive continuous improvement in global accounting operations.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience in both public accounting and high?growth global public organizations.
- CPA required.
- Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
- Background in process improvement, system optimization, and accounting automation; NetSuite experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across diverse global teams.
- Highly analytical, detail?oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast?changing environment.

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
