Project Coordinator (Real Estate Development Team)

The Opportunity:
We're looking for a sharp, adaptable Project Coordinator to join our client's affordable housing development team in Carmel, IN. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role supporting a team that's constantly managing multiple projects across our affordable housing portfolio. No real estate or finance background required - training will be provided. What we're looking for is someone who is exceptionally organized, thrives in a dynamic environment, and brings a problem-solving mindset to everything they do.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and support tax credit, loan, and HUD applications - including document preparation and coordinating third-party reports
• Manage invoicing, expense reports, wire and check requests, and reimbursements
• Coordinate travel arrangements for team members
• Draft and send correspondence, presentations, transmittals, and emails
• Reach out to internal and external contacts to obtain required signatures and documentation
• Liaise with outside vendors, third parties, and local municipalities to gather project documentation
• Assist with general administrative tasks including ordering supplies, filing, shipping, and phones
• Support department events and team initiatives as needed

• Logical thinker who can problem-solve independently and pivot quickly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
• A genuine desire to learn and grow within the affordable housing and real estate development industry
• College degree preferred; relevant administrative experience welcome
• Previous experience in an administrative assistant, office manager, or project coordinator role
