Local Sales Representative Position Title: Sales Representative Location: Orlando Industry: Commercial Moving, Logistics, Workplace Solutions



Overview


Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to generate new business within their commercial moving and logistics division. This role is ideal for a hunter-type salesperson who enjoys building relationships, prospecting, and closing deals in a competitive B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the local market
  • Conduct cold outreach, networking, and in-person meetings with prospective clients
  • Build relationships with businesses such as:
    • Corporate offices
    • Healthcare facilities
    • Universities
    • Commercial real estate partners
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM (HubSpot)
  • Consistently work toward achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets

Qualifications

  • 2 years of B2B sales experience (preferred)
  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Logistics / transportation
    • Moving & storage
    • Commercial services
    • Business development roles
  • Strong prospecting and closing skills
  • Self-starter with a hunter mentality
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
  • Commission Structure:
    • Earn commission after reaching annual revenue targets
    • Potential for uncapped earnings
    • Flexible structures available for experienced candidates with a book of business
  • Car allowance / mileage reimbursement (via program)
  • Cell phone allowance

What Success Looks Like

  • Building a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Achieving $1M in annual revenue (typically within 12-18 months)
  • Developing long-term client relationships
  • Becoming a recognized presence in the local business community

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
