Legal Assistant (Temp Permanent Options)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Full-time, onsite
Compensation:
* Temp: Up to $35/hr
* Perm: $82,500-$85,000
Our client, a professional services firm with a busy litigation team, is seeking both a temporary and a permanent Legal Assistant. The temporary assignment covers a one-month leave but may extend based on business needs or convert to a temp-to-perm transition. This role supports multiple attorneys and requires strong e-filing experience, litigation support, and polished communication.
Responsibilities* Draft legal correspondence, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
* Perform e-filing in PA and NJ courts (county, state, and federal)
* Provide daily administrative and litigation support to 3 attorneys
* Prepare Table of Contents and Table of Authorities
* Assist with document management, case deadlines, and filing organization
* Coordinate with the Office Manager and legal assistant team
* Professional, polished presence
* Prior experience with PA/NJ e-filing required
* Strong litigation experience
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced legal environment
* Excellent organization, accuracy, and written communication
* Ability to support multiple attorneys simultaneously

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
