VACOAtlanta has partnered with an impressive law firm in Midtown Atlanta in their search for a skilled Litigation Paralegal. The paralegal is responsible for case management fromstart to finish. The successful candidate will be able to aid during all phases of the litigation process.Since in-office work is required, only candidates who live in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Proficient in multi-state court procedures and filing requirements, including e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Performadministrative duties, including calendar hearings, court, and discovery deadlines.
- Draftcourt documents and medical chronologies.
- Conductlegal research.
Requirements
- 2 or 4-year degree, paralegal certification, or relevant experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience is REQUIRED.
- Must possess a solid understanding of the litigation life cycle.
- Must have exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Need to be comfortable using technology with the ability to pick up new software quickly.
