HR Generalist (Recruitment Focus) - Temp-to-Hire
Locations: Overland Park, KS
Overview:
We're partnering with a rapidly growing organization preparing for a major acquisition and significant expansion-expected to triple its workforce. As part of this transformation, they are building out their HR infrastructure and seeking multiple HR Generalists with a strong recruitment focus to join on a temp-to-hire basis.
This is a high-impact opportunity to support large-scale hiring initiatives while contributing to broader HR projects at the parent company level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across a variety of roles and departments
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop hiring strategies
- Manage high-volume recruiting pipelines in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment
- Support onboarding and ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition
- Assist with HR initiatives tied to acquisition integration and workforce expansion
- Provide general HR support including employee relations, compliance, and HR operations as needed
- Help implement and improve HR processes, systems, and best practices
- 3 years of HR experience with a strong emphasis on recruitment
- Proven experience managing high-volume hiring or scaling teams
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting multi-state or remote workforces is a plus
- HRIS/ATS experience preferred

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
· the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
· licensure and certification requirements;
· office location and other geographic considerations; and
· other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses and/or participation in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's retirement plan (or similar retirement benefits).
