100% remote in the USA only, EST core hours

Compensation: $125,000-130,000 10% yearly bonus

About the role:

The Data Engineer builds and maintains the data pipelines and datasets behind analytical reporting and AI solutions. Works with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data to prepare datasets for analytics, AI, agents and modeling.

Supports the data structures used for data-driven and AI-enabled data analysis, and reports on data quality, and aligns data and AI systems.

Responsibilities:

* Evaluate incoming data from partners and clients for completeness, reliability, veracity and agreed-upon specifications

* Ingest medical claims data and lab results into Snowflake

* Extract and ingest structured data (SQL, JSON, etc.) into Snowflake and the Data Lake/AWS Iceberg

* Extract unstructured and semi-structured data from document- and text-based sources into Snowflake and the data lake/AWS Iceberg

* Group data for advanced analytics, AI and data science in Snowflake, Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex

* Build repeatable pipelines to onboard data and move it through medallion environments

* Help develop pilot tools using SQL, Python, AWS Glue, Snowflake and Terraform

* Find ways to improve data quality, integrity and reliability

Minimum Qualifications:

* Strong hands-on SQL data management and database design; Snowflake data structures and best practices preferred

* Data lakes and medallion data warehousing

* Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS

* Healthcare experience - pharmacy, managed care, health plans, hospitals or pharmaceutical

* AI/ML techniques and tools
