Role: Benefits and Leave Specialist
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Onsite: Hybrid
Job Type: Contract with permanent potential
Compensation: $30 - $35/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end leave administration (FMLA, ADA, STD/LTD, multi-state leaves)
- Handle moderate-high LOA caseloads across a multi-state workforce
- Partner directly with managers on complex leave and accommodation situations
- Support benefits administration, employee inquiries, and vendor coordination
- Assist with open enrollment and benefits communication
Requirements
- 5 years hands-on LOA case management
- Full ownership of leave cases (not just TPA oversight)
- Strong multi-state FMLA and ADA expertise
- Experience supporting large employee populations (2,000 )
- Benefits administration experience required

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
