About the Role:
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee core accounting operations, lead the general ledger team, and deliver financial insights, process improvements, and operational support. Reporting to the Regional Controller, this role will manage the month-end close process, review key financial activity, and ensure accurate, timely reporting across the region. This role is based in Columbia, SC, following a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monthly and quarterly close activities, including review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses.
- Oversee general ledger team performance and workflow.
- Review financial statements and support compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Partner with leadership to provide financial guidance and recommend process improvements.
- Support audit preparation and internal control enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Accounting preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience; prior leadership strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- CPA preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
