Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Multi-Entity Management
- Oversee daily accounting operations for multiple legal entities, including healthcare operating entities and real estate entities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes across all entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepaids, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditure tracking
- Ensure accurate accounting for patient service revenue, adjustments, and collections
- Coordinate accounting for leases, rent income/expense, and property-related costs
- Reconcile activity between operating companies and real estate entities
- Support location-level financial reporting and performance analysis
- Prepare consolidated and entity-level financial reports for leadership
- Prepare and maintain KPI reports for healthcare operations, real estate entities, and individual locations
- Analyze KPI trends and variances and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable local, state, and federal requirements
- Support external audits, reviews, and financial inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA as it relates to financial data
- Manage, mentor, and review the work of accounting staff
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across entities and locations
- Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls to support organizational growth
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in healthcare or multi-entity environments
- Prior supervisory or management experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-location reporting
- Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification preferred
- Public accounting experience preferred
Salary : $80,000 - $115,000
