Your Impact
- Oversee the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payments, and expense reimbursements.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
- Partner with Procurement and Operations to improve vendor terms and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Lead automation and process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Monitor AP KPIs and recommend improvements for performance and working capital management.
- Oversee cash disbursement forecasting in coordination with the Treasury.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the AP team, supporting career growth and building a high-performing culture.
- Collaborate with auditors and ensure reconciliation of AP sub-ledgers with the general ledger.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 8 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations, with 5 years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record managing large-scale AP operations in multi-entity or multi-location organizations.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience implementing and optimizing ERP/AP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, SAP).
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.
- Strong analytical ability with a track record of driving process improvements.
- Bonus: Experience in hospitality, real estate, or service-driven industries.
Working at Vacatia
This is a full-time onsite role at our Fort Lauderdale HQ. Standard business hours apply, with occasional evenings or weekends during peak periods. You’ll thrive if you’re adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing independent work with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

- Primarily sedentary office work, with occasional standing or walking.
- Ability to work at a computer for extended periods (8 hours/day).
- Regular use of standard office equipment.
- Occasional lifting/moving of up to 15 pounds.
