Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with deep expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, and data processing applications. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with AWS Glue or Apache Spark and should be able to build, optimize, and maintain scalable backend systems in a hybrid work setup.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of professional experience in Java backend development
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Must have worked extensively on data processing applications
• Solid knowledge of AWS Glue or Apache Spark
• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and backend performance optimization
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot
• Build and deploy microservices that are scalable, secure, and high-performing
• Work on data processing workflows, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and validation
• Integrate backend services with AWS Glue or Spark-based pipelines
• Develop, optimize, and maintain RESTful API endpoints
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and data teams to define and implement technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture improvements
• Ensure backend systems follow best practices for performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas for automation and optimization
