The ideal candidate has experience leading end-to-end research, building roadmaps, and shaping product strategy, while thriving in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments.
Responsibilities
- Scope study objectives, research questions, and methods aligned with product team needs, leveraging a range of qualitative and quantitative approaches (e.g., surveys, interviews, usability testing, diary studies).
- Collaborate closely with designers, PMs, engineers, and other researchers to integrate insights throughout the product lifecycle - from formative exploration through iterative prototyping to evaluative validation.
- Own end-to-end research execution, including study design, participant recruitment, moderation, analysis, and reporting.
- Develop and execute research roadmaps that align with business and product goals.
- Translate research findings into clear, actionable insights that inform product direction, go-to-market strategy, and long-term vision.
- Manage and provide feedback on external vendor research to augment internal capabilities.
- Communicate results through compelling storytelling - tailoring insights for executives, product teams, and diverse stakeholders.
- Mentor peers and junior researchers, fostering a culture of rigor, collaboration, and impact.
- 5 years of applied UX research experience, ideally across both consumer-facing and B2B/advertiser-facing products.
- BA/BS (required) or advanced degree (preferred) in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in a wide range of research methods, with strong ability to choose and apply the right method at the right stage of the product cycle.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging both qualitative insights and quantitative data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights that resonate across audiences.
- Ability to operate with autonomy, balance multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Experience building and managing research roadmaps, as well as collaborating with or managing external vendors.
