These areas are all critical result areas that frequently involve very expensive items, automated technology and rigid quality control. Interpretation and problem solving skills are frequently used as well as precise manufacturing skills. Accurate record keeping and communication skills are essential. EDUCATION: High School / GED plus one year of post high school education or related work experience. Self study or formal Technician Training to become Nationally Certified. Technicians will maintain their Pharmacy Technician Registration/License with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy as well as their National Certification. EXPERIENCE: At least three to five years experience as a certified pharmacy technician, with demonstrable expertise in area of specialty and competence in all areas of pharmacy technician practice. Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board and registered with the State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation as a Pharmacy Technician. This is a bargaining union position.
