GENERAL SUMMARY: The Operations Manager Perioperative Services is responsible for working collaboratively with the Director to plan for, direct, supervise and evaluate all program operations and patient care delivery in the Operating Room, ACU/PACU, PASS office, Endoscopy, and Surgical Waiting Areas located at two different locations, CVPH main campus and the KJC Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The operating room consists of 9 on-site ORs and 3 off-site areas providing multiple surgical specialties. The ACU/PACU consists of a pre-operative unit, a Phase II recovery unit and a Phase I recovery unit that services the operating room, interventional radiology, endoscopy, and anesthesia cardiology and radiology cases. The Endoscopy units consist of 2 inpatient rooms and 5 outpatient rooms. The Operations Manager is responsible for management/leadership of the unit/department in the absence of the Director. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in nursing, Applied Science or Associate of Science required. 2. Bachelor's degree or Master of Science in Nursing preferred. 3. Current New York State Registered Nurse License preferred. 4. Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR), Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN), and/or Certified Paranesthesia Nursing, Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Nationally Certified Surgical Technologist (NCST) preferred. 6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and/or Basic Life Support (BLS) for non-Nurses is required. 7. Prior clinical experience in Perioperative Services or Management experience in other related fields required. 8. Prior experience with perioperative equipment and instrumentation required. 9.
